The safari was fantastic and our driver/guide, William was better than excellent - we felt very fortunate to have this exclusive time with such an experienced, knowledgeable and passionate man.   Excellent and very professional service - Julnic Safari provided us a shuttle service between Durban and St. Lucia in both directions: both time the drivers were licensed tour guides ( Jan and Mugda) that on the... read more way (3 hours) provided very insightful info about the surroundings. The vehicles were clean and almost new, fully tanked and the service was really what we have paid for: no surprises, no last minute changes in routes or delays no request for covering unquoted expenses (which seems to be quite an issue in South Africa). In spite of being a small company they proved to be a really serious one and I would contact them again if in Durban.

The light lunch provided is an awesome BBQ-tour guides are amazing-big thanks to China and Theo with their world of experience answering all the questions I had! and a huge thanks to Julius and Mandy who helped organize this tour at the very last minute. We were in a dilemma to hear Prince Seeiso, Prince Harry and Sir Elton John speak at the IAC which was the same day as the tour provided by IAC and if I had not heard back from these guys in record timing like less than 24 hours before, this tour would never of happened-picked up right from the hotel and managed to fit in the game reserve AND the boat cruise on the UNESCO wetlands of St Lucia-dream come true! thanks so much Julnic! so patient and kind!

We wanted to add a visit to a township and Shisa Nyama lunch and Julius was able to arrange it without a hitch.

Thami, our tour guide, was right on time at 08:30 in the morning. We were driven around in a sedan and Thami explained to us the little details and history of South Africa. He even went on to tell us why people were selling gallons of ocean water on the street. After the drive around the city, we stopped at the Victoria Market to do some souvenirs shopping. The prices there were a lot better than Cape Town. Thami was very flexible in what we wanted to do. We also went to the stadium, view point, Ghandi's house, Dube's memorial where Nelson Mandela voted, and last but not least Shisa Nyama lunch. Although it was a late lunch, but it was worth the wait. After the lunch we were dropped off at our hotel around 4:30 pm.

I would recommend Julnic and would definitely use them again if I get a chance to come back to Durban.

We were picked up at our hotel early in... read more the morning and spent a full day on an amazing jeep safari in Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve. We saw animals right from the beginning of the park, giraffes and elephants only few meters from the jeep, and we met lots of rhinos. Just breath taking. Our ranger served breakfast and made a delicious braai (BBQ) for us all at lunch. All agreed they have had an unforgettable day 🙂

We experienced the zulu culture in Shakaland with its history, dances and beer tasting - fascinating. In... read more St. Lucia we had an exclusive guided boat cruise and were presented for the rich birdlife, crocodiles and lots of hippos before a nice sunset.
Cape Vidal was the highlight next day with wildlife, beach and picnic. Theo, our ranger, showed and explained with great passion. He and Julnic Tours made this 2-days tour just perfect.
